Negative Impacts of Instagram on teenage girls

According to a report published in the Wall Street Journal on Tuesday, Instagram is harmful to teenage users. The report is based on three years of Facebook research into how Instagram affects its young user base, with teenage girls being particularly harmed.

WSJ report, about 6% of teenagers in the US and 13% in the UK who reported suicidal thoughts linked them to Instagram. According to CNBC, the researchers wrote, "Thirty-two percent of teen girls said that when they felt bad about their bodies, Instagram made them feel worse."

The study also discovered that "teens blame Instagram for increases in the rate of anxiety and depression," a reaction that was "unprompted and consistent across all groups," according to the researchers. These reports shows the negative impact of social media on young girls.

Male and female models show off their perfectly toned bodies in high-resolution photos and videos on Instagram. This app focuses primarily on female models wearing short dresses with beautiful curves. Exploring the lifestyle of these Instagram models has a negative impact on young girls whose bodies aren't that good and it ruins their self-image.

Nobody can avoid these models, as Instagram places these stunning women in the app's discover section in every account. Almost everyone who uses Instagram on a daily basis has noticed these models. These flawless models, on the other hand, are far from flawless and rely heavily on photoshop techniques to achieve their flawless appearance.

Kylie Jenner is one of the most popular model on Instagram because of her stunning curves and many young girls are also influenced by her gorgeous looks. Without a doubt she has a awesome body but she was caught using Photoshop on multiple occasions on Instagram. Some of them are given below:

Kylie quickly removed the selfie after her fans pointed out the obvious editing error. Fans, however, raised a few eyebrows when they noticed the edge of the pool she was posing at appeared to curve dramatically.

The lines on the cushion behind Kylie's arm appeared to bend in the above photo - taken on the luxury getaway - which her fans noticed right away.

Kylie lifts her top to show off her toned stomach in this racy selfie, but her fans couldn't help but notice another editing error. On the left side of the photo, the curtain appears to be warped and stretched out.

So these inconsistencies in Kylie's Instagram posts show that she isn't perfect and relies on Photoshop to make her curves look better than they are. Young girls should not become obsessed with the fake bodies of Instagram models and should instead live their own lives in peace. This social media lifestyle is largely fictitious, and one should not put their faith in what they see on Instagram.
