Euro 2020: Portugal vs Germany match preview, prediction, team news, lineups

One of the most entertaining and highly awaited fixture is going to be played today in group F of UEFA Euro 2020 as Portugal is going to face Germany in a heated clash. We can say that this is the clash of titans as to giants of football will go head to head today.

Portugal, Germany and France have been drawn in the same group that's why Group F of Euro 2020 which is known as group of death provides titanic clashes on every single matchday.

In the opening matchday Cristiano Ronaldo's Portugal faced Hungary which is the only weak side in the team and won the game by the goal margin of 3-0. Cristiano Ronaldo scored a brace as third goal was scored by Guerreiro. They enter their final two group-stage matches against heavy weights France and Germany on front foot.

On the other hand Germany faced France in what was a fascinating game of football to watch as France beat Germany by score margin of 1-0 as Matt Hummels of Germany put ball in his own net to score a disastrous own goal. They definitely need something out of this game to remain in the hunt for European last 16.

Group F:

When we look at the Group F of Euro 2021, we see three title contenders  in one group with two spots up for the grab. That means one of them, Portugal, Germany, France will have to go home at the end of group stage games. Hungry stand no chance against these big names. With wins in the opening matchday Portugal and France look set to be destined for next stage but bear in mind that France played Hungry while France played Germany. That means it will not be easy for Portugal also as they still have to face both giants. As for Germany situation is difficult right now so they will be coming to get 3 points from Cristiano Ronaldo's men.

As for Germany the good news is Goretzka and Jamal Musiala is fit and should be ready to play. while the bad news is that Germany's first team Right back Lukas Klostermann has been ruled out of the tournament due to a minor thigh injury.

For Portugal the only injury is of left-back Nuno Mendes as he sustained thigh injury that isn’t considered serious, but he is a doubt for Saturday.
