Covid-19 variant omicron symptoms

New symptoms have been discovered since COVID-19 took over the world, as several variants evolve. One symptom in particular, according to experts, can indicate that you've contracted the infection.

Since Covid's takeover of the world in 2019, it's been more than two years. Coronavirs have evolved since then, and they can now be found in a variety of forms in different parts of the world. It has evolved into the Omicron variant, which is rapidly spreading in 2022. Despite the fact that the majority of the world's population has been vaccinated, they are not immune to the Omicron virus.

According to research, a sore throat is the first symptom of infection, and experts are advising people to stay at home and get tested. Dr Allison Arwady, Commissioner of the Chicago Department of Public Health, has advised people to stay at home if they have a sore throat.

A runny nose, headache, fatigue, altered smell, and a lack of appetite are the most common COVID symptoms.

Furthermore, in people who test positive for the variant — particularly those who have been vaccinated — an earache has been reported as a common symptom.

"Unusual joint pains" are also common symptoms, according to The Sun, "with fewer cases reporting feeling down and a loss of smell."

Cough, fatigue, and headache are the top three symptoms reported by the UK's Office for National Statistics.
