At the age of 16, Vardy began his youth career playing for Sheffield Wednesday. However, Vardy was dropped by the club for not being good enough. This discouraged Vardy so much that he decided to give up on his dream of becoming a professional footballer. Vardy also had to move out of the parent’s house due to constant quarrels with his parents. He soon joined a football team, Stockbridge Park from 2003–2007, and worked off jobs in order to sustain himself.

The forward, released by Sheffield Wednesday's academy as a
teenager, started playing for Stockbridge for £30-a-game along with hard work
in a carbon fiber factory at an age of 20 years. Hours of work in a factory and
then training for football matches isn’t easy for a footballer isn’t an easy
task but the thing that drives a man for all this is PASSION.

Jamie’s hard work paid off when he scored 66 in 107

spent on striker paid off as a year later, after 27 goals by Jamie, Halifax won

Jamie vardy at Fleetwood |
It soon became visible that Fleetwood was just another step
for the prolific forwards bright future, now earning £850 a week. He scored 31
goals and guided the Lancashire team into the Football League for the first
time. At that time scouts from the top league teams were visiting Lancashire in
search of prolific players. Their mission to reach the League complete,
Fleetwood sold Vardy to Leicester City in May 2012. The fee was £1m,
potentially rising to £1.7m, and a non-league record.

Jamie vardy first season at leicester |
But it was far from a dream start. The striker struggled for
form and, after criticism from fans, even considered quitting football at the
end of his first season at the club. That shows life is very hard sometimes
that you eventually lose all hope in just a matter of time.
Leicester city were playing in the Championship (2nd
tier football in England) for fourth season running in 2012. Vardy scored mere
4 goals in that season which were much less than expected. But coaches at Leicester
kept faith in Vardy and club didn’t sold vardy after poor start.
But next season brought the luck to Jamie as he scored 16
goals in the 2013-14 season that guided Leicester back to the Premier League as
champions and we all know the rest of the story.

Jamie vardy celebrations for Leicester |
After promotion in the top tier of English football it was
task for Jamie Vardy to keep his goal scoring form and save his side from
relegation. But top tier also brings top level difficulties along with it as
Leicester city were fighting relegation battle for most of the 2014/15 season
and Jamie scored only 5 goals in that critical season that raised some doubts
over his abilities.
After such disappointing season I think Jamie Vardy or any
man at Leicester had never imagined what was waiting for them in next season. A
year after narrowly avoiding relegation, the Foxes beat all the odds to win the
Premier League title.
The Miraculous
Season in the history of English Football
As the season was about to start on JULY 13, 2015 Claudio
Ranieri is appointed as the manager of Leicester City. It was a surprise
choice by his new club’s Thai ownership group. Shortly after being hired, he
states that his goal for the club is to reach 40 points, which is generally
regarded as the minimum total needed to avoid relegation. That showed that club
were not even have thought in their wild dreams that they are going to have the
best season in premier league history.
On AUG. 8, 2015 as the season started for Jamie vardy and
Leicester city, in the first game of the new season, Leicester beats
Sunderland, 4-2, with two goals from Riyad Mahrez (who signed with the Foxes in
2014, when the club was in the second division) and one from Jamie Vardy. This
was a good start to an extraordinary season.
At the end of November, vardy had scored in his 11th
consecutive game for Leicester city and set a new record. At that time Leicester
city were sitting at 2nd place in the league and at the start of New
Year level at 1st position with arsenal.
But as the season goes on Jamie vardy kept scoring goals and
started cementing his club position at the top. Tottenham hotspurs were
fighting the title race with Leicester city at the end.
On MAY 2, 2016 Leicester City missed a chance to clinch the
title outright when it tied, 1-1, at Manchester United on May 1. But when
Chelsea fought back to tie Tottenham, 2-2, just over 24 hours later, the deal
was done. Leicester led Spurs in the standings by 7 points with two matches to
go, meaning the Foxes could not be caught. Needless to say, Leicester City
players and fans, celebrated vigorously.

certificate. His transfer value went up from £2 million to about £18 million.
